Warm Labs

Thanks for all of your kind comments yesterday. I'm calming down, and your comments reminded me that there are more good people on this Earth than bad.

And, thank goodness for the Duo who brighten every day, shown here watching the Perseid meteor showers and listening to the coyote chorus from the warmth of a sleeping bag.

  2. You mean they didn't get a pup tent? Sorry, couldn't resist! I love that picture of them!

I didn't think I was wrong. I remembered two other things. I hope that things settle down some. That kind of stuff is beyond stressful!

  10. i confess. it was me as I, Mr. WD and L & J flew over the Rockies on our way to Europe. I'm just so mad you would spy on our fellow bears... ;) (kidding). on another note, i just saw North Carolina is cracking down on bear baying. ok, i've never even HEARD of it, and when i saw the video of it, i wanted to throw up. i'm comletely "ok" with hunting (in general, not for stupid sport but but certainly not because a certain species is killing the things you hunt)... anyway, when i saw these "so-called" hunters do this to a captive bear to "train their dogs" i wanted to chain up the morons myself. their excuse is some bears will climb trees and some will not and it's to "train the dog to stay with the bear" ... um hello, sounds like "cheating" in the hunting world to me. shivers. anyway, thought i'd pass it on. maybe it's some stupid bear hunter?

  11. Isn't it something how our dogs can sometimes be the best comforters around?

  12. Hi Wild Dingo from Switzerland - One good thing that Colorado voters did was ban using dogs for bear hunting. So, that baying and treeing stuff doesn't happen around here. Plain old bear hunting (sans dogs) is allowed and is just about to start here.
